Support

The Arts Center fills a vital gap in our community by providing art of all kinds to the people that most need it. However, we can't continue to unleash the power of art without help from supporters like you!

Good Giving Challenge

Good Giving Challenge

good giving guide challenge 2014From November 3 through December 12, the Community Arts Center will be participating in the Good Giving Guide Challenge, organized by the Blue Grass Community Foundation.  The Challenge uses social media, community challenges, matching gifts and other fun activities to raise awareness about and funds to support local organizations.

This is the Arts Center’s biggest fundraising effort of the year and we hope that YOU will be involved.

Starting November 3rd, your donation to the Arts Center could be matched, thanks to a challenge gift from the Lottie Ellis Fund.  Donations of up to $1,000 per donor are eligible to receive a 50% matching gift, up to a total of $25,000.  This is a terrific opportunity to make your donation go even further!

To make a donation, visit https://www.bggives.org/arts-culture/community-arts-center. All donations MUST be made through this giving portal in order to be included in the Challenge!

Centre Challenge

Centre College Challenge

centre campusDo you have a connection to Centre College? Your donation to the Community Arts Center could double – and then some!

We have a very special opportunity on the table.  An anonymous faculty member at the College has stepped up with a $2,500 matching gift challenge to faculty, staff, and students of Centre College. All donations made using a Centre College email address (@centre.edu) will be matched, dollar for dollar, until the $2,500 is exhausted.

These donations are ALSO eligible to receive a 50% match from the Lottie Ellis Fund as long as matching funds remain, so your gift could more than double.  For example, a $100 would become $250.

Make your gift today and please spread the word to everyone you know at Centre!

Do you love art? Do you love fun? Do you want to have fun while supporting art?
GoodGiving Challenge 2014Join the League of Extraordinary Art Lovers

From Nov. 3 through Dec. 12, the Blue Grass Community Foundation is once again organizing the GoodGiving Guide Challenge, which seeks to promote charitable giving to non-profit organizations in the region. The Challenge uses social media, community challenges, matching gifts and other fun activities to raise awareness about and funds to support local organizations.

The Arts Center is geared up to participate - but we need your help!  It'll take a team of energetic art-lovers to get the word out into the community and round up support.  You can be part of the action. Opportunities will include:
  • Social Media Viral Wizard - If you've got a big Facebook or Twitter network, help us by re-posting and re-tweeting information about the Challenge, sharing Arts Center stories, and encouraging your friends to do the same.
  • Giving Station Sherpa - We're working to set up a series of "mobile giving stations" throughout the community during the Challenge and we'll need bright smiling faces to staff them. If you can share an hour of your day (maybe during lunch?), it will be a big help.
Pavement Pounder - We'll have posters to hang and materials to share with local businesses. If you can help us forge relationships (or just deliver the goods!), you're a rock star.
  • Generator of Other Ideas - Got a great idea about how to promote the Arts Center? We want to hear about it.
  •
  • Questions?  Ideas to share?  Contact Kate Snyder, Development Director,
  • at kate@communityartscenter.net or 859-236-4054.
